Well, we got some good news today that a terrorist plot was foiled that would have destroyed multiple planes bound for the US. Again one more reason to take the power and money out of the hands of the people doing the terrorism. If they don't have money, they can't make exotic explosives and buy lots of sophisticated weapons. So how do they get the majority of there money? Through oil profits.
Take some of the teeth out of there bite, and get on the alternative energy band wagon. Vote for people without ties to big oil. Let the Arab oil cartel sink back into the desert! Let’s get to energy independence again.

I heard recently that US funds given to the Middle East after natural disasters may have been used for this plot. Pretty scary.
But where do you draw the line? We can't be come totally independent of foreign oil at the drop of a hat, and we still have a global responsibility to give aid when needed.
Well this is distubing! Even humanitarian aid may be diverted from the people that need it and then turn it against the US. This will definitely reduce the amount of assistance Muslim nations are given in true times of need.
